Coral Springs Police crime update

This is a summary of crimes occurring between December 21 – December 27, 2022, provided by the Coral Springs Police Department. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty, and the names of those who were not arrested have been redacted. CSPD redacts most addresses.

Burglary 

Creighton Construction was the victim of Burglary Construction – Forced Entry at their construction site at 12339 West Sample Rd. between 12/20 and 12/21/2022.

A protected person was  a victim Burglary of Residence, Non-Forced Entry on 12/21/22

Grand Theft

On December 21 at 5:38 p.m., a victim of a Grand Theft reported a loss of $1,205. On December 22, a victim of a Grand Theft reported a loss of $3,750. No other details were given.

Burglary Conveyance 

Two cars were broken into, and the victims of Burglary/Conveyance-Theft From Auto, with each reporting losses of $500 on the afternoon of December 22.

Fraud

A person was a victim of the Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card for $2,000. The card was used somewhere between December 19 and December 22. The location was redacted.

Battery

A person was the victim of Battery Intentionally Strike/Touch Another Person Against Their Will on 12/21/22.

A 29-year-old male was a victim of Battery Intentionally Strike/Touch Another Person Against Their Will at on 12/23/22.

Domestic Abuse

A person was the victim of Domestic Battery/Touch Another Person Against Their Will on 12/24/22

Criminal Mischief

A 49-year-old was a victim of Criminal Mischief-Business over $1000 (3rd Degree Felony) on 12/23/22

Theft of Auto Parts

$6,000 worth of auto parts were reported stolen from a victim of Theft of Auto Parts or Accessories on December 24. 

Shoplifting

Target 4400 N, State Rd, 7, was the Victim of Theft/Felony Retail Theft on 12/21/22. Total Loss $3,165.

Target 4400 N. State Rd. 7 was a Victim of Theft/Felony Retail Theft on 12/24/22. Total Loss of $1,669.

Arrests

Rocha, Diego Andres, 40, was arrested on a charge of Burglary Dwelling Unarmed / No Assault Occupied at 6341 NW 55th St, Coral Springs, on 12/21/22.

Thurman, Michael Charles, 32, was arrested on a Charge of Burglary Conveyance Unarmed/No Assault Occupied on 12/21/22.

Whitehead, Takhia Alexus, 19, was arrested on a charge of Battery/Touch or Strike /Battery Violence on 12/23/22.

Vuolo, Leonard Andrew, 40, was arrested on a charge of Battery (Intentionally Cause Bodily Harm) Domestic on 12/24/22.

Lamour, Danielo, 35, was arrested on a charge of Aggravated Assault (Firearm) Actual Possession on 12/24/22.

Prince, Brittany Lasche, 30, was arrested on a charge of Shoplifting /Retail Theft 1st Degree Prop $100 to < $750 at 9263 West Atlantic Blvd. on 12/24/22. 

Eastep. Nella Nina, 39, was arrested on a Charge of Petit Theft – 2nd Degree – 3rd Subsequent Offense 12/27/22.
