CONWAY — It is been a long while considering that he first started pumping fuel for the late Jesse E. Lyman III at the previous Lyman’s Shell (now Frontside Espresso Roasters in North Conway) when he was just 14.

But now after 45 several years at Northeast Car Overall body, the business enterprise that he started on a shoestring when he was just 20 decades outdated, David “Spike” Smith has retired.
